A private car meets you at Chek Lap Kok and delivers you to a harbour-view room in Tsim Sha Tsui. The first evening asks nothing of you: the Symphony of Lights plays across the water from your window at eight, and the hotel concierge holds our restaurant list for whichever cuisine the flight left you wanting.

We confirm the specific resort — Venetian, Galaxy or MGM tier — and the running stage production at the time of booking, because show calendars in Macau change seasonally. What is fixed is the standard: a five-star Cotai suite, and middle-block seats at a full-scale resident production, not a lobby act.
Then swap it. At booking we replace the Disneyland day with a free day at no change in price — most couples use it for the Sai Kung seafood villages, a second Macau morning, or simply the hotel pool with the harbour in front of it. The ticket is only issued once you confirm you want it.
Because with one night, Macau is a checklist; with two, it is a holiday. The second night buys you the old town at eight in the morning without a single tour bus, a proper Macanese lunch nobody is hurrying you through, and an afternoon at the resort you are paying five-star rates for. It is the single best upgrade in this itinerary.
The cabin is as safe as the standard one — the glass floor is the only difference, and it is structural, not decorative. But if the idea spoils the ride, say so at booking and we issue standard-cabin tickets instead; the view through the side windows over the bay and the Buddha is ninety per cent of the experience anyway.
