Why are international flights not included?

Because on this route it saves you money. India–Australia fares swing by tens of thousands of rupees between sale weeks and peak weeks, and many of our travellers hold miles that cover the long leg. We quote you a live fare at booking time and you choose — take our fare or bring your own tickets, the land price stays the same.

How early should we apply for the visa?

Six weeks before departure is the safe line. Most subclass 600 grants come inside three weeks, but a slow case in the December rush can take longer, and the fee is not refunded if you have to cancel a trip the visa did not arrive for. We prepare the file; you upload and pay through your own ImmiAccount, which the rules require.

Is five nights enough for Australia?

Enough for a first taste of two very different corners, which is what this trip is honestly built to be. If you can stretch, our ten-night Grand East Coast adds the reef and Melbourne — and flying that far for less than a week is the one thing we would talk you out of if your leave allows more.

Can the children do everything on this itinerary?

Yes — that is why it is shaped this way. The cruise, Scenic World, the wildlife park and Movie World all welcome young children; the only height limits are on Movie World’s biggest coasters, which have plenty of alternatives beside them. The Bondi clifftop walk has an easy turnaround point at the halfway mark.

Flights from India land in the morning after an overnight leg, so day one is gentle by design. Check in, shower, then walk Circular Quay while the jetlag burns off: the Opera House on one side, the Harbour Bridge on the other, and ferries criss-crossing between them. Dinner in The Rocks, the convict-era quarter under the bridge.

A guided tour inside the Opera House first — the concert hall is the part the postcards cannot show you. Then a lunch cruise across the harbour, past the bridge, Fort Denison and the waterfront mansions of Point Piper. The afternoon runs out to Bondi for the clifftop walk to Bronte, the prettiest hour of coastal path in any city anywhere.

Evening free in Darling Harbour
West out of the city and up onto the sandstone plateau. Echo Point stares straight at the Three Sisters; Scenic World drops you into the rainforest on the steepest passenger railway in the world and lifts you back out by cableway. On the way home, a stop at a wildlife park to meet kangaroos and koalas being rehabilitated — feeding is allowed, holding is not, and that is how it should be.

A ninety-minute hop north lands you in Queensland by late morning. The afternoon belongs to Surfers Paradise: fifty-seven kilometres of surf beach with a skyline behind it, the SkyPoint observation deck on the 77th floor for the full sweep of it, and an evening beachfront market if the day lines up. Swim between the flags — the surf here is real surf.

The Gold Coast is Australia’s theme-park capital and Movie World is the one to pick first: the DC Rivals hypercoaster for the brave, the Scooby-Doo dark ride for everyone else, and a stunt-driving show that genuinely earns the applause. Return transfers are included, and dinner back at Broadbeach closes the day.
